Sundays

Well, it is sunday again. I really like the break from the week. For those of you who do not know, we played a little joke on the ward for April fools day. We decided to put our home up for sale. We got plenty of calls, not for the house but other ward members telling us to take the sign down. The joke was originally intended for the Bishop. He has had one of his counselors gone for a month and then he thought he was losing his other counselor. So we received a frantic phone call from the bishop, and after a short conversation with him he told me to prescribe him some depends for the accident he had when he heard the news. This is nothing like the pranks my mother would pull on me, but those are for years to come. Anyway, all is well and we are not planning on going anywhere for a long while. In fact I think I'm going to add on to the house. We might buy some land somewhere and just sit on it for a few years and see what happens. I like to be outdoors and living in the city is hard, there is nowhere to ride a 4-wheeler or go make a fort in the pasture. I guess we could make a fort in the park across the street and ward off any other neighbor kids, but they might wonder why a 30 something year-old has a pirate hat, sword, and running around the park. On second thought they would probably love the challenge. See ya in the park!

Well Keralyn gets back from Texas tomorrow. I guess I had better get to cleaning up my mess I made in her absence.
