Christmas was AWESOME!

Well, I hope everyone had a wonderful, wonderful Christmas day.  Mike, Eli, and I headed down to Utah to be with my family the Thursday before Christmas.  We were lucky to set up a time to stop by and visit Katie and her family on the way down to Pleasant Grove.  Eli LOVED spending time with them, and there were smiles all around.

This is the first time that Jake, Katie's stepdad, has been home when we've stopped by for a visit.  It was fun to see him be with Eli....until Eli spit up on him!

Here Eli is all smiles with his birthmom, Katie, who also seems pretty happy!

Grandmas always know how to get smiles, and Grandma 'Nette is no exception.

For one of my baby showers, Eli was given a Santa suit, which fit him at Christmastime, fortunately.  When we took him to the ward Christmas party, he got to wear it for the first time, and it was a hit!

Yeah, he's cute, and he knows it.  So do I!

Believe it or not, Mike and I have connections with Santa Claus himself.  Since we haven't had children to enjoy his visits until now, we've always sent him to our friends' houses.  But this year, Eli got to meet him!

Eli wasn't really interested in Santa, but he really liked Santa's bells and the candy cane he was offered.

Our Christmastime has been so special.  We have thoroughly enjoyed having Eli to share this time with.  Mike took the week between Christmas and New Year's off, and we are enjoying every moment together as a family.  We hope the rest of you are enjoying yourselves as much as we are!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
